As you may already know, the concession operator at the arena is now serving alcohol. Signs have been placed throughout the arena to guide people as to where alcohol can't be taken and we encourage all members of our association to comply. The license states that consumption is allowed in the large ice lobby and large ice stands only. No alcohol is to be taken or consumed in the dressing room hallway, dressing rooms, small ice lobby or small ice spectator area.
Any issues in regard to alcohol at the facility should be directed to the concession operator. If they don't handle the problem, please phone the Taber Police Service. The arena operators will not be acting as security and will be following the same procedure.
No alcohol can be consumed by coaches, managers and off ice officials (scoreclock/penalty box) before or during games.
We also feel the need to remind everyone that the expectations for behavior at our facility has not changed as a result of the license.
